RPG Group company, CESC Ltd, today reported a net profit of Rs 100 crore for the fourth quarter ending March 31, registering 6.38 per cent rise over the corresponding period last year.
The net sale was Rs 754 crore during the quarter, higher from Rs 741 crore registered in the corresponding quarter last year.
The power utility registered a net profit of Rs 433 crore higher by 5.6 per cent for the year 2009-10.
Net sales for the year under review was Rs 3,291 crore as against Rs 3,031 crore registered in 2008-09.
