Chandrasekhar joins Invesco

 Chandrashekhar's appointment is a result of INVESCO's increased interest in Indian equities. He join's INVESCO From the first week of May 2006 and will be based in Hong Kong. INVESCO has a total of about $17 billion investment in the Asia-Pacific region and has a presence in Asia since 1962.

 INVESCO manages investment products that span a wide range of asset classes from fixed income to value, core and growth equities to alternative
investments such as real estate and private capital. INVESCO is a unit of
US-based AMVESCAP, which has nearly $400 billion of assets under management and is among the top-15 global asset management companies.
