Chennai Petro Q3 net dips 16%

Chennai Petroleum Corporation has reported a 16% dip in net profit to Rs 88.26 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 105.26 crore in the same period last year.

According to a release issued to the BSE, the total income (net of excise) has spurted 84% from Rs 2224.06 crore in Q3-03 to Rs 4083.66 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.
