Chettinad Cement Corporation today reported a net profit of Rs 7.24 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010.
It had a loss of Rs 98.30 crore for the same period of last year.
The sales for the March quarter stood at Rs 338.49 crore against Rs 314.97 crore in the same period of last year, Chettinad Cement Corporation said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
For the year ended March 31, 2010 the company reported a net profit of Rs 91.17 crore. It had reported a loss of Rs 4.21 crore in the previous fiscal.
For the year, sales stood at Rs 136.05 crore against Rs 113.76 crore during the same period of last year, the company said.
