Chinese Coagent in talks with auto majors in India

Chinese automotive accessories company Coagent Electronic S&T Co Ltd today said it is holding talks with auto majors for supply of car infotainment products for a greater share of the estimated Rs 100 crore market. "We are already in the process of tying up with companies like General Motors and Hyundai for approving our Reddrive Smart series products and developing products according to car manufacturers," Coagent Indian agent, Auto Trendz business Head Vinay Daga said. The Chinese company that market its products as Caska brand expects to install an assembly line in India in the next three years. The smart series of infotainment products offers both audio-video entertainment facility including GPS navigation. Coagent will soon launch products that will offer internet facility on 3G platform.
