ChrysCap to take stakes in Shriram firms

The board of directors of Shriram Investments, which met today, has approved a proposal to issue equity shares and convertible warrants to Uno Investments, a subsidiary of ChrysCapital III.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, the board has cleared a proposal to issue up to 1,24,91,000 shares and up to 27,49,000 convertible warrants of Rs 10 each at Rs 35 per share.

The company will hold an EGM on February 3, 2005.

The board of Shriram Transport Finance Company also met today, and approved porposals for preferential allotments to Uno Investments.

The board cleared a proposal to issue up to 1,34,79,000 equity shares and up to 29,66,000 convertible warrants at Rs 35 per share.
