India's leading drug manufacturer Cipla today issued a statement to the stock exchanges denying that it is in negotiations to sell their stake to global buyers.
"We received a query from a financial daily regarding stake sale by Cipla," said Cipla in a statement.
"In this connection, the company had categorically denied this news vide letter. The company would once again like to reiterate that these rumours are absolutely baseless and are purely speculative in nature and the company has no intention whatsoever to do any stake sale," the statement said.
