Cipla FY05 net up 37%

Cipla today reported a 37% increase in net profit at Rs 406.38 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as against Rs 295.59 crore in FY04.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 2,317.86 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 from Rs 1,958.59 crore in FY04.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 105.58 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2005 as against Rs 101.74 crore in Q4FY04. Total income declined to Rs 550.43 crore in Q4FY05 from from Rs 580.59 crore in Q4FY04, the release added.
