Cipla FY07 net up 8%, Q4 net slips 34%

Cipla today reported a 8% increase in net profit at Rs 660.82 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 (FY07) as compared to Rs 607.64 crore in FY06. Total Income during the fiscal rose to Rs 3,661.27 crore from Rs 3,107.51 crore in FY06.

According to the release issued by Cipla to BSE, the company, however, posted a 34% decrease in net profit at Rs 125.73 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007 (Q4FY07) as against Rs 190.77 crore in Q4FY06. Total Income increased to Rs 960.53 crore from Rs 919.25 crore in Q4FY06.
