City Union Bank Q2 profit up by 15% to Rs 108 cr

Net Interest Income up by 16.43% during the quarter

City Union Bank has clocked a net profit of Rs 107.85 crore during the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as against Rs 93.75 crore, a year ago.

Net interest income rose by 16.43% to Rs 240.10 crore from Rs 206.22 crore.

Total business rose by 11.21% to Rs 44,551 crore during the second quarter from Rs 40,060 crore, a year ago.

Gross NPA stood at Rs 398.29 crore, which is 2.10% of gross advances. Net NPA stood at Rs 255.94 crore, which is 1.36% of net advances.

Provision Coverage Ratio stood at 61% as on September 30, 2015.
