Clariant Chemicals (India) appoints new directors

The vast experience of these directors will be of great value, says company's Chairman R A Shah

Speciality chemicals leader Clariant Chemicals (India) Ltd today inducted Yezdi H Malegam, Indu Shahani and B L Gaggar as directors on the company's board.

Gaggar will retain his role as executive director - finance and company secretary, a company statement said.

"The diverse experiences of these directors will help the Board continue steering the company in India to profitable path for its shareholders and stakeholders," Clariant Chemicals (India) Chairman R A Shah said.

Shah also acknowledged the valuable contributions of Bansi Mehta and Diwan Arun Nanda, who retired due to personal reasons.

"The vast experience of these directors will be of great value in strengthening our commitment to sustainable and innovative solutions for our stakeholders in India and our very clear focus of growing as one of India's leading speciality chemical companies," Clariant Chemicals Vice Chairman & Managing Director Deepak Parikh said.
