CMC keen to avoid duplication of work

 Although the company is still largely dependent on the government for its revenues, it is increasingly integrating its operations with the $1 billion software powerhouse Tata Consultancy Services.  In an interview with S Ravindran, S S Ghosh managing director and CEO said all efforts are being made to avoid duplication of activities between CMC and the Tata group.  What have been the changes at CMC since the Tata group took over?  Tata Consultancy Services has a presence in 134 countries and that helps. Their presence in the US is especially a big help. Further, we are able to collaborate on orders.  For instance, if TCS bags an order we are able to supply a part of the software.
