Coca Cola launches analytical centre in Pune

The Coca Cola Company has launched an analytical services center at Pune. The company has invested over Rs 18 crore in the 2,000-sq-mtr facility. The laboratory is designed with a view to provide the company with analytical and technical support for its operations in India, South Asia and some parts of eastern Europe, southern Eurasia and West Asia.

This will be the sixth such lab, others being in Brussels (Belgium), Shanghai (China), Johannesburg (South Africa), Mexico City (Mexico) and Atlanta (USA).

The company also launched a new re-hydration drink called Vitingo with a pilot project in the state of Orissa, specially formulated for kids with eye deficiency, and is evaluating it to make it financially viable.
