The Netherlands-based company has annualised revenues of between $5 million and $6 million. The acquisition allows Cognizant to better serve customers in the Benelux region by adding local client partners, industry expertise, and local language capability.

Cognizant, in a press release, said the acquisition further strengthens its industry-leading fourth generation offshore delivery model, which has senior executives based close to clients in the US and Europe, who are tightly integrated, with a robust SEI CMMI Level 5 offshore capability.

This is the fourth acquisition by Cognizant in the last 18 months. In June 2002, Cognizant acquired certain assets of UnitedHealthcare Ireland Limited, a subsidiary of the UnitedHealth Group, in Limerick, Ireland.

In October 2002, Cognizant announced the transfer of assets of Silverline Technologies relating to the provision of software services to American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc.
