Cognizant India's profit falls 40%, revenue dips 5% in FY21: Tofler data

Cognizant Technology Solutions India Private Limited reported a 40 per cent fall in profit from the previous fiscal, and expenses rose by 6.5 per cent, according to financial data accessed by business intelligence platform, Tofler. 

Revenue for the financial year 2021 was Rs 29,682 crore, a fall of nearly 5 per cent from the revenue in the previous year. 

Profit after tax fell 40 per cent to Rs 3,265 crore during the fiscal year. The company’s total expenses for the fiscal were reported as Rs 24,982 crore, up from Rs 23,452 crore in the previous year.
