Consumer goods company Colgate Palmolive today said it has appointed Pauk Alton as the whole-time director of the company with effect from September 1, 2010.
Alton will head the finance department and be the chief financial officer (CFO), it said.
The company also said it has declared a first interim dividend of Rs 10 per equity share of Re 1 for FY 2011.
The company's shares were trading at Rs 846.15, nearly 0.18 per cent lower than Wednesday's close.
