Colgate to pay second interim dividend of 30%

Colgate Palmolive (India) has declared a second 30% interim dividend for the financial year 2005-06.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, the board today cleared a proposal to pay 30% interim dividend i.e Rs 3
per equity share of Rs 10 each.

The interim dividend would be paid on the paid-up equity capital of Rs 135.99 crore, and involve a total pay-out of Rs 47 crore (including dividend distribution tax), the release added.
