College of Fire Technology to train Oman co

The  first batch of 20 personnel have already been arrived to the CFT campus. Faculty memebrs will impart regular training in Oman.
 
Al-Safa is an Omani Environmental and Technical Services company formed in 2004 to meet the increased demand in the oil and gas industry for an innovative and professional approach to the environmental sector.
 

 

Petroleum Development Oman accounts for more than 90 per cent of the country's crude-oil production and nearly all of its natural-gas supply. The Company is owned by the Government of Oman (which has a 60 per cent interest) and Royal Dutch Shell (which has a 34 per cent interest).
 
College of Fire Technology has 416 students enrolled in Year 2007-08 in the discipline of Fire, Safety &Security.
 
College of Fire Technology offers a three year B Sc degree in Fire Technology recognized by Gujarat University. Next for the college is courses in Information technology which will be implemented in a phased manner.
