Continental to source low-end tyres from Metro

 Continental will also provide technology to Metro for the business, Jorg Essiger, managing director (motorcycle tyres), Continental AG, said.

 He said the tyres initially procured will be low-end and cost an average $10 a tyre. There are no plans to sell tyres in China or south-east Asia, he added.
