Coromandel Fertilisers has announced 20.7 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 83.55 crore for 2005-06 compared with Rs 69.2 crore in 2004-05. Net sales increased by 21 per cent to Rs 1,846.91 crore from Rs 1,525.08 crore in 2004-05. |
On a consolidated basis, the company's net profit increased from Rs 78.38 crore in 2004-05 to Rs 95.38 crore in 2005-06, thus registering an increase of 21.6 per cent. |
Net sales (consolidated) was up by 21 per cent from Rs 1,530.04 crore in 2004-05 to Rs 1,851.79 crore in 2005-06. In March 2006, the company entered into a share purchase agreement for acquiring 50.27 per cent of the equity capital of Ficom Organics from its promoters. |
