Hyderabad-based crop protection products maker, Coromandel International Limited, today reported a 16.11 per cent decline in its net profit to Rs 236.88 crore for the second quarter ended September 2012, as compared to Rs 282.38 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The Murugappa Group company’s net income from operations for the quarter under review stood at Rs 2,675.18 crore, as against Rs 2,793.36 crore during the same period a year ago, reflecting a decline of 4.23 per cent.
Coromandel International’s scrip is currently trading at Rs 286.95 on the BSE, down 0.05 per cent, over the previous close of Rs 286.80 a share.
