Leisure and infrastructure company Country Club India (CCIL) is looking at expanding its overseas operations by acquiring properties in countries like the US, UK and Malaysia during the next 18 months, a top company official said here.
"We are looking at acquiring properties in the US, London, Poland, Malaysia and Bangkok where a sizeable Indian population lives," Country Club Promoter Y Rajeev Reddy told PTI.
CCIL is India's largest club chain that owns and operates around 200 properties in India and Dubai and has over 2 lakh members.
"Following our success in Dubai, we are looking at expanding our overseas properties. We are looking at up to $25 million for a property between New York and New Jersey in the US," Reddy said.
On funding, Reddy said: "We are planning to float another issue. We are considering a rights as well as a public issue in the near future. We are talking to investors and we may raise money through QIP as well."
