CRISIL, a global analytical company providing ratings, research and risk and policy advisory services, and Finitiatives Learning India, an e-learning and certification services provider in banking and finance, have signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) to promote financial awareness among the rural poor and create knowledge standards in the banking and financial services (BFS) sector.
Under the terms of the partnership, FLIP will develop financial literacy and awareness modules for CRISIL Foundation, which oversees and manages CRISIL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the area of financial awareness and literacy.
Besides this, CRISIL and FLIP will also work together to create knowledge standards in the BFS industry and to close the gap between academia and real world skills. The two companies will host a joint seminar to assess the skilling challenges faced by the industry and work towards solutions.
