Crompton Greaves Q1 net up 16%

Crompton Greaves today reported a 16% increase in net profit at Rs 36.37 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006 when compared with Rs 31.25 crore in Q1FY06.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 745.55 crore from Rs 527.51 crore in Q1FY06.
