Crompton Greaves Q3 net up 37%

Crompton Greaves today reported a 37% increase in net profit at Rs 43.21 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005 as against Rs 31.59 crore in Q3FY05.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 654.48 crore in Q3FY06 from Rs 477.66 crore in Q3FY05.

The board declared a second interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per share, the release added.
