Crompton Q2 net 25%

Crompton Greaves today reported a 25% increase in net profit at Rs 40.66 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 when compared with Rs 32.49 crore in Q2FY06.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income (net of excise) increased 48.52% to Rs 833.40 crore from Rs 561.13 crore in Q2FY06.
