Cochin Shipyard Limited on Wednesday delivered a platform supply vessel 'Vos Prevail' to Vroon Offshore BV, Netherlands. This is the fourth PSV being delivered to the company this year and the 20th such vessel built and delivered by CSL.
The protocol documents of the ship were signed by Jose Mathew, chief general manager (shipbuilding), CSL, and Eric Rikken on behalf of the owners.
Cochin Shipyard is currently constructing 10 offshore support vessels in addition to the prestigious Indigenous Aircraft Carrier Project for the Indian Navy. The PSVs are the workhorses of offshore oil industry, and carry all operational supplies and stores to far-off offshore installations.
