Dabhol to get more D6 gas from Oct 1

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has increased gas allocation for the Dabhol power plant in Maharashtra from Reliance Industries Ltd’s (RIL’s) Krishna-Godavari D6 block.

The plant, operated by Ratnagiri Gas and Power Pvt Ltd (RGPPL), will receive 5.67 million standard cubic metre a day (mmscmd) from the block, against 2.7 mmscmd now. The increased allocation has been made from October 1.
