Dabur India net up 3.54% y-o-y

The total income for the quarter stood at Rs 620.24 crore as against Rs 537.81 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The company also reported an 18.5 per cent increase in net profit which stood at Rs 332.8 crore for the 2007-08 fiscal compared to Rs 280.8 crore for the financial year 2006-07. The turnover for the year stood at Rs 2395.5 crore up 15.2 per cent from Rs 2069.05 crore the previous year.

 

"We continued to sustain the growth momentum in key categories like hair care and oral care, where Dabur brands outpaced the industry growth. The health supplements business reported a 15% growth during the year, while the foods business grew by 19%. The international business posted a growth of 25.5% with impressive performance from Egypt and African markets," said Dabur India Ltd CEO Sunil Duggal.
