Dabur launches Shwaasamrit

Dabur India today announced the launch of Shwaasamrit, an ayurvedic medicine for combating breathlessness.

"It's no secret that respiratory disorders are on the rise given today's adverse environmental conditions. Dabur Shwaasamrit, based on proven Ayurvedic formula, reduces the frequency and severity of symptoms associated with respiratory disorders by attacking the problem at the root and acting as an immunity builder for the respiratory system," K K Chutani, general manager (marketing), Dabur India, said.

According to a release issued by Dabur, Shwaasamrit is a clinically-proven herbal preparation that has been developed to cater to the needs of the Kerala market where a significant proportion of the population is known to be suffering from breathlessness.

"Dabur Shwaasamrit has been made keeping the south Indian consumers and their specific needs in mind. We are sure that Dabur Shwaasamrit will definitely win consumer confidence in south India, particularly Kerala," Chutani added.

The product is a blend of 14 herbs and is said to provide three-step action - increases airflow, makes coughing up easier and increases immunity of the respiratory system.  The product will be available in packs of 400 g and 100 g bottles priced at Rs 165 and Rs 50, respectively.

Dabur has roped in Amitabh Bachchan to endorse the product.
