Daikin Air-conditioning India today said it will increase prices of all its products in the residential and commercial HVAC category by three to 5%, from August 1.

The company decided to increase prices due to continued depreciation of rupee that has created pressure on input costs.

“Although we have been trying to offset the pressure created by the depreciating rupee by holding back prices of our product range, the continual pressure created by the current economic conditions have forced us to take the step,” said Daikin India MD Kanwal Jeet Jawa.
