The world's largest truck maker Daimler today unveiled its exclusive brand 'BharatBenz' for trucks in India.
The brand would represent the entire Daimler India Commercial Vehicles portfolio of trucks from 6-49 tonne.
This would be the fifth brand in the Daimler Trucks portfolio, company officials said.
The trucks would be launched in 2012 and Daimler India has already invested Rs 4,400 crore at its Oragadam facility near here over a period of five years.
