Having tied up with Tetra Pak India Pvt. Ltd. for recycling its cartons, Vapi-based Daman Ganga Mills Board plans to roll out innovative paper products out of the same. Through its partnership with Tetra Pak India Pvt. Ltd., the company is planning to produce and market innovative products like abrasive paper and decor paper using Tetra Pak cartons of milk or juices.
"While Daman Ganga Mills Board serves in the wholesale market, post the tie-up with Tetra Pak, the company intends to foray into retail as well. We also intend to roll out some innovative products like abrasive paper and decor paper, especially in the retail market," said Tushar Shah, director, Daman Ganga Mills Board.
The company is engaged in the paper production and recycling of 'difficult to recycle laminates' and recovering and recycling of packaging waste, pre or post consumer. Under its recycling model, Daman Ganga has been creating diverse products from Tetra Pak cartons that range from roofing sheets to school benches to even 100 per cent acid free paper towels.
