Vserv, a smart data platform for mobile marketing, has raised $15 million (Rs 91 crore) from hedge fund Maverick Capital Ventures and existing investor IDG Ventures, the company stated. Vserv's platform, Audience ProTM, ties data from sources such as offline and online marketers, telecom operators, mobile app developers and third-party sources. It creates user personas and triggers real-time intent signals, enabling discovery, analysis and monetisation of end-users' data.
TrulyMadly raises $5.5 million
Truly Madly Matchmakers Pvt Ltd, which owns and operates dating site TrulyMadly.com, has raised $5.6 million (Rs 35 crore) in its Series-A round of funding from early-stage investors Helion Venture Partners and Kae Capital, the company said in a statement. The site offers relationship-related video content on YouTube and blogs.
Customfurnish raises $2.5 mn
Hinshitsu Manufacturing Pvt Ltd, which runs Hyderabad-based furniture e-tailer Customfurnish.com, has raised Rs 16 crore ($2.5 million) from a group of individual investors and Small Industries Development Bank of India. The investors include Satish Reddy, chairman of Dr Reddy's Laboratories; Srini Raju, founder of Peepul Capital, and Srini Koppolu, former managing director of Microsoft India Development Centre.
Deals app Niffler raises $1 mn
Niffler Labs Pvt Ltd, which operates a mobile-first firm offering deals from offline players, raised $1 million in a seed round of funding from early-stage investor SAIF Partners. The company offers deals from offline merchants across categories.
Intruo ropes in angel investors
Intruo Technologies, which operates interior decor site Intruo.com, has raised an undisclosed amount in angel funding from Ashutosh Lawania, co-founder, Myntra, and Freecharge co-founder Alok Goel, among others, reports VC Circle. The round is yet to close.
