Datamatics In Publishing Services Jv

Datamatics Technologies, a business processing outsourcing company, has entered into a joint venture with Cadmus Communications Corporation, a North America based publishing services provider.

Datamatics will hold 20 per cent equity in the joint venture, christened KnowledgeWorks Global (KGL). It has invested $ 1 million for the stake. The balance stake is being held by Cadmus.

KGL will operate in the fields of content processing, content management and related services to STM publishers in Europe, Singapore and Australia.

Meanwhile, Datamatics has set aside another $11 million for investments this year. This includes $10 million for an acquisition in the finance and accounting sector in the next three months.

 

Manish Modi, managing director, Datamatics, declined to divulge the details of the acquisition.
