Deccan to fly to US by April 2008: Mallya
BS Reporter / New Delhi August 21, 2007
UB Group chairman Vijay Mallya announced that Kingfisher Airlines will fly to the US next year using the Air Deccan brand, if necessary, should the civil aviation ministry not relax the clause in the aviation policy that restricts domestic airlines with less than five years of operations to fly international routes.

The UB group acquired 26% in Air Deccan in June.
