Delphi India plans $10mn capex

 "The company is looking to strengthen its technology centre in Bangalore with an investment of $ 10 million," Prashant Shah, vice-president (sales and marketing) of Delphi India, said.

 "We were looking towards more engineering work including design development here," he added.

 Shah said that Delphi India was not part of the bankruptcy filing in the US of the parent company, and  India was insulated from the developments.

 The auto component major had filed for bankruptcy proceedings under Chapter 11 in the US last week after posting heavy losses in successive quarters.
