Delta launches nonstop New York-Mumbai flight

Delta Air Lines launched its first nonstop New York-Mumbai flight, from here last night.

Delta has entered into arrangement with Kingfisher under which, the latter will provide connecting flights to Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Ahmedabad within two hours of the arrival in Mumbai.

Air Lines officials said 70% of food provided would be ethnic Indian and will include vegetarian, non-vegetarian and Jain options.

Each flight will be staffed by at least four Hindi speaking flight attendants.
