Deutsche Postbank Home Finance has raised subordinate unsecured non-convertible debentures (NCD) of Rs 34.70 crore. The NCD issue would help the company augment its capital requirements for growing its business during current year, the housing finance player said in a statement.
Yes Bank acted as the arranger for the Tier II capital raising.
Meanwhile, Deutsche Postbank Home Finance said its profit after tax went up by 72 per cent to Rs 44.38 crore during the year-ended March 2009, compared with Rs 25.79 crore in the previous year.
The company’s portfolio grew by 23 per cent to Rs 3,750 crore at the end of march 2009.
