A spokesperson of the Nigam said here DHBVN, in one financial year 2007-2008, had managed to reduce its AT&C losses from 32.38 per cent to 25.06 per cent, a new high, having reduced the AT&C losses by about 12 per cent during last three years.
The target for the year to bring reduction in the losses was that of six per cent which was not only achieved but exceeded.
During last three years, the DHBVN has reduced AT&C losses by a record about 12 per cent from 36.846 per cent in 2004-05 to 25.06 per cent in 2007-08, he said.
"There has been a whopping increase in revenue collection efficiency also, which has increased by over seven per cent during last three years from about 94 per cent in 2004-05 to over 101 per cent in 2007-08", he said.
