It was a day marked by the arrival of several godmen at the Breach Candy hospital here today, where Dhirubhai Ambani is fighting for his life. The Shankaracharya of Kanchi Peetham arrived at the hospital in the evening to bless the patriarch of the Ambani family. Anil Ambani, the younger son of Dhirubhai and managing director of Reliance Industries, stepped out of the hospital to receive the Shankaracharya.
The Shankaracharya spent about 15 minutes in the intensive care unit of the hospital. Also, the family arranged for a major havan at its home in Cuffe Parade. However, the hospital authorities, in their press briefing, today said that there was no improvement in Ambani's condition, which continued to be critical for the third consecutive day.
