Discovery Channel has added a Tamil-language broadcasting also to its portfolio following the success of 24-hour English- and Hindi-language feeds.
The move, says the company, is in line with its global strategy of being accessible to the largest number of people by showcasing content in region-specific languages.
The Tamil-language broadcast will be available in the family time-band from 8 pm to 10 pm, Monday to Friday, with repeat telecast from 10 am to 12 noon.
