Announcing the launch of this series named Ultimate Olympics, Discovery Networks India Marketing Director Rajiv Bakshi said, "The series will help viewers discover the utmost resolve and passion of China to host the international event. Viewers, through this series will understand, how modern day science and technology is used to build next generation infrastructure."
The series will also have a separate section on China's sports personalities preparing for the games their country is hosting. The planners are also working on issues such as traffic and transportation, environment and nature protection and development of friendly atmosphere for outsiders in Beijing.
Discovery had recently screened "The story of India" series, which had received excellent response from India. "We are also coming with several new programmes on Travel and Living channel as well," Bakshi told Business Standard.
