Essel Group promoted Dish TV, is looking to increase its subscriber base to 4 million by 2008-09, up nearly 200% when compared with the current figure of 1.38 million subscribers. The Direct-To-Home (DTH) player has embarked on a massive advertisement and marketing drive, along with an investment of Rs 500 crore on procuring technology for value-added services alone.
