Dishman, Elder Pharma & Essel Propack Q3 results

Dishman net up 9%
 
Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals' net profit increased 9.36 per cent to Rs 19.40 crore in the third quarter ended December 2005 as compared with Rs 10.04 crore in the corresponding quater of the last financial year. Net sales stood at Rs 61.94 crore.
 
On a consolidated basis, in the nine-month period ended Decemer 2005 net sales went up by 23 per cent to Rs 191.38 crore from Rs 155.06 crore in the year-ago period. Net profit registered a growth of 75 per cent to Rs 42.41 crore from Rs 24.20 crore.
 
Elder Pharma net up 53%
 
Elder Pharma has posted 53 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 10.74 crore for the third quarter ended December 2005 as compared with Rs 7.02 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
 
Income from operations has increased to Rs 94.41 crore for the quarter from Rs 79.67 crore in the year-ago period, registering a growth of 19 per cent. EBIDTA stood at Rs 18.50 crore as againt Rs 13.07 crore last year, up 42 per cent. EPS recorded was Rs 6.14.
 
Essel Propack Q4 net up 15%
 
Speciality packaging company Essel Propack posted 15.15 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 11.4 crore for the fourth quarter ended December 2005 as compared with Rs 9.9 crore for the corresponding period last year.
 
Total income increased by 5.3 per cent at Rs 69.5 crore from Rs 66 crore last year, the company, part of the Essel group, informed the stock exchanges.
 
The company registered 12.7 per cent hike in net profit at Rs 46.1 crore for the year ended December 2005 as compared with Rs 40.9 crore in the previous year.
