Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals today reported nearly 10-fold increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 16.72 crore for the quarter ended December 31.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 1.68 crore in the corresponding period last financial year.
The consolidated total income during the quarter under review also went up by 11.89% to Rs 266.19 crore from Rs 237.89 crore in the year-ago period, Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals said in a filing to the BSE.
Reacting to the numbers, shares of the company closed higher by 8.32% at Rs 59.90 on the BSE.
