Drug firm Divis Laboratories today said its consolidated net profit rose by 45.07% to Rs 98.42 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 67.84 crore for the same period of the previous fiscal, Divis Labs said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 309.69 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010, from Rs 196.31 crore in the same period last fiscal.
"The company's project at Visakhapatnam, at an estimated cost of Rs 200 crore, is progressing well, as per schedule," it said.
Shares of Divis Labs were trading at Rs 637.05 on the BSE in late afternoon trade today, up 0.63% per cent from the previous close.
