During the festival, which started on April 1 and is concluding today, a minimum of Rs 28 crore sales have taken place

Press Trust of India New Delhi
DLF Emporio, the luxury mall of the country's largest realty firm, today said the ongoing 45-day shopping festival at its premises has generated over Rs 28 crore sales for various domestic and international brands.

"We have got very good response for this luxury shopping festival. This is the fourth year and this time we have seen almost 100% increase in sales across the brands over last year," DLF Emporio Senior Vice President Dinaz Madhukar told PTI here.

During the festival, which started on April 1 and is concluding today, a minimum of Rs 28 crore sales have taken place, she added.

"We usually do not keep a track of how much sales have happened. This is the figure, which we have come to know after customers registered with us for the special prizes. The gifts will be given to those, who shopped a minimum of Rs 20,000 and registered with us for a lucky draw," Madhukar said.

Some of the gifts that will be doled out include Mercedes Benz E Class cars and international holiday packages.

The shopping centre currently has a capacity of 102 stores, which are occupied in almost equal numbers by domestic and international brands.
