Country's largest realty firm DLF today reported over two-fold jump in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ending March at Rs 426.38 crore.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 159.05 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, DLF said in a communique to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The total sales of the company during the fourth quarter of last fiscal stood at Rs 1,994.37 crore, up 77.70 per cent over Rs 1,122.32 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
However, for the entire 2009-10, the net profit of the company declined by 61 per cent at Rs 1,730 crore as against Rs 4,469 crore, the statement said.
The total sales during FY10 fell by 26 per cent to Rs 7,421 crore from Rs 10,035 crore in FY09.
