Dow drops 146pts, Tata Motors up 2%

Both the major Wall Street indices dropped on Wednesday as crude prices declined sharply on larger-than-expected supplies. While the Dow dropped 146 points (1.07%) to 13,489, the Nasdaq Composite was also down over 1% at 2600.

Indian ADRs finished on a mixed note. Tata Motors gained over 1.6% to $16.81. Dr. Reddy's and HDFC Bank also closed with gains.

ICICI Bank slipped nearly 3% to $48.24. Satyam and Wipro were down 1% each. Infosys also declined yesterday.
